A London-based fintech on a mission to bring transparency and control to foreign exchange (FX) for businesses. Their FCA-authorised platform, TruHedge, offers end-to-end FX orchestration — covering governance, risk management, transparent execution, trade analysis, and global accounts and payments. Backed by Macquarie Group, Tenora is building the next generation of FX infrastructure for modern businesses
My Role
At Tenora I lead UX across the platform — covering everything from early research and wireframing through to the final UI. I've been designing the product from the ground up, working closely with the founders and engineering team to shape how it looks, feels and works.
Working across the full product lifecycle, my responsibilities include:
- Discovery & research: conducting user research to understand the pain points of finance teams dealing with opaque FX pricing and fragmented tooling
- Information architecture: structuring a multi-feature platform (governance, execution, analytics, payments) in a way that feels cohesive and easy to navigate
- Wireframing & prototyping: rapidly iterating on concepts and validating designs with stakeholders and end users
- Visual & interaction design: crafting a polished, professional UI befitting a regulated financial product, balancing clarity with depth
- Design system: building a scalable component library to support consistent, efficient product development
- Stakeholder collaboration: working closely with founders, product, and engineering to align design decisions with business and technical constraints
